If you’ve been a member of Habitica for long, you’ve probably noticed that when you complete your tasks, sometimes you get a piece of food, Hatching Potion or an egg. We’ll let the Wizards of the Wiki do the introductions:
Drops offer players the chance to receive special items when completing tasks. A new player will start to receive normal drops (eggs, hatching potions, and food) upon completing their second task.
When a player receives a drop, they will be alerted via a notification, which appears near the top right corner of the website or at the bottom of the Android and iOS mobile apps.
